Why Our System Doesn’t Flake Like Traditional Polyaspartic Floors 

Most polyaspartic flooring systems on the market rely on broadcast paint flake chips to create color and texture. While common, this approach has a built‑in weakness: 

Those chips create a thick, uneven layer that the topcoat must seal over. 

As soon as traffic, UV exposure, or wear breaks through the topcoat, the system begins to fail from the top down. The flakes absorb moisture, trap dirt, and eventually cause the coating to peel, lift, and flake off in sheets. Our system completely eliminates that failure point. 

 

A Better Design: No Chips. No Bulk Layer. No Flaking. 

Instead of using paint flakes, the POKYKAP system uses:

• A Smooth, resin-based colour coat  

• Ultra‑thin PUD accent splashes for pattern and texture
